Biden’s appointees have included an eco-terrorist to head the Bureau of Land Management and no shortage of racists, but Rachael Rollins was something else. The Soros DA was in a league of her own even among her ilk.

When the Black Lives Matter race riots devastated cities, Rollins ranted,“This burning rage that you are seeing when you turn your TV on or you hear in my voice is real. People are fed up, and to the white community that is now waking up to see this rage, we have been telling you this forever.”

“Buildings can be fixed,” Rollins argued while falsely accusing police officers of having “lynched and murdered” black people.

The pro-crime DA then defended the rioters claiming that “It is completely ironic to have to say to you, ‘please don’t be violent. Please keep your voice down. Please be silent and comply with all of the police’s requirements’, when in fact it’s those very people that murder us with impunity.”

Rollins had stirred up the violence by falsely claiming that “we are being murdered at will by the police & their proxy” and ranted, “No more apologies. No more words. Demand action. Radical change now.” When Boston cops protested against Rollins “slandering our officers as murderers”, she retorted with a racist taunt to the heroic officers, “white fragility is real.”

There was the road rage incident in which the racist DA threatened to write a woman a ticket and then threatened a local news team, “I’ll call the police on you and make an allegation, and we’ll see how that works with you.”

Rollins later justified her behavior because the cameraman was a “white man”.

The obvious takeaway was not only that Rollins was extreme, but had very little self-control.

Nonetheless, Team Biden tried to prove its bona fides to its racist base by muscling her nomination through for U.S. Attorney.

And it wasn’t easy with Kamala having to come down and break the tie.

The advancement of Rollins’s nomination came in spite of opposition from Republicans, led by Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton, who urged President Biden to withdraw Rollins’s name and nominate someone new for U.S. attorney.

“It is no surprise that some right-wing voices have sought to make an issue out of Rollins’ nomination and it is unfortunate that many Republicans who should know better have fallen in line behind this campaign of fearmongering,” U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren said, in remarks from the floor…

Cotton and other Republicans, like Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, have focused in particular on Rollins’s March 2019 policy memo making it the default position of the office to decline to prosecute 15 non-violent crimes such as misdemeanor trespassing, drug possession, making threats and breaking and entering.

Markey said the last time the Senate held a roll call vote on a nominee for U.S. attorney was in 1975. Calling Rollins a “courageous Black female progressive district attorney” with a “demonstrated record of success,” Markey said the attempt to block Rollins’s nomination was part of a “deeply partisan ploy.”

“This obstruction of District Attorney Rollins’ nomination is unwarranted, unfounded, and unprecedented,” Markey said…

Burning all that political capital on someone so unhinged proved to be totally worth it with Rollins resigning after a mere 16 months in office.

.Massachusetts U.S. Attorney Rachael Rollins will resign after a monthslong ethics investigation by the Justice Department’s inspector general into her appearance at a political fundraiser and other potential issues, her attorney said Tuesday.

The Justice Department’s watchdog has yet to release its report detailing the findings of its investigation, but an attorney for Rollins told The Associated Press that she will be submitting a letter of resignation to President Joe Biden by close of business Friday.

The Associated Press was the first to report in November that the inspector general’s office had opened an investigation into Rollins over her appearance last year at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser featuring first lady Jill Biden.

People familiar with the investigation told the AP at the time that the probe had expanded into other areas, including Rollins’ use of her personal cellphone to conduct Justice Department business and a trip she took to California that was paid for by an outside group.

The inspector general also examined a trip Rollins took to California that was paid for by an outside group, even though Justice Department employees are not supposed to accept payments for travel.

The next time you see Rachael Rollins, she’ll probably be screaming at random drivers in the parking lot.
