NextImg:Biden's Navy Sec Accuses Sen. Tuberville of Communism for Opposing Abortion

Remember, ‘McCarthyism’ is only bad when directed at leftists. It’s patriotic to accuse your opponents of being Russian or Communist stooges for such things as wanting a strong military or opposing abortion.

The contractor sewer rat that Biden plucked from the donor list has some thoughts about Communism. The context for this is a showdown between Sen. Tuberville and Biden’s woke brass over abortions in the military. Tuberville put a hold on promotions for woke generals until the woke brass stops pushing abortion, while the woke generals cry ‘national security’ but insist that abortion is so vital that they’re willing to wreck national security over it. That and presumably drag shows on military bases.

Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro has decided to go with accusing Tuberville of aiding Communists.

“As someone who was born in a communist country, I never would have imagined that actually one of our own senators would actually be aiding and abetting communist and other autocratic regimes,” Del Toro, who was born in Cuba, said in a CNN interview.

Truly patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel.

If Del Toro wants to see someone aiding Cuban Communists, he can stop by an Obama fundraising dinner.

In 2009, Carlos Del Toro had appeared at Obama’s town hall and asked him about making it easier for businesses like his to get government contracts.

“The more Carloses there are who are out there scratching and striving to get some business, ultimately the better deal we’ll get as taxpayers,” Obama had gushed.

Or he can stare at his own weasely face in the mirror. Because let’s remember how Del Toro got his current gig.

Del Toro was introduced by Senator Mark Warner, another beneficiary of his donations, who called the fellow Virginia resident a “longtime friend”.

Shall we check in on what Warner was doing with Cuba?

Sens. Mark Warner, D-Virginia, Claire McCaskill, D-Missouri, and Amy Klobuchar, D-Minnesota, made their first trip to Cuba over the weekend in support of a bill Klobuchar sponsors to lift the U.S. trade embargo on Cuba.

“We look with hope and expectations to the meetings next week in Washington between the Cuban government and the American State Department to make progress,” Warner told reporters Tuesday in Havana.

As someone whose mother was born in a communist country, I never would have imagined that our Secretary of the Navy would actually be aiding and abetting senators who kissed Fidel’s toenails.

But perhaps instead of breaking propriety by attacking a democratically elected official, Del Toro could contemplate doing his job for a change.

On June 16, 2023, a date which will live in infamy, the Pearl Harbor base featured the story of Lt. Nick Grant, an “out gay cisgender man” who was a co-chair of the Naval Medical Force Pacific Transgender Care Team (NMFP TGCT).

The title of the Pride Month feature was “serving with pride”.

There are some who say that the Navy ought to be focused on other things. Like getting its submarines to work. In the latest numbers, nearly 40% of attack subs are out of commission.

With only 31 subs operationally ready, the US Navy is more unready than ever to face off against the People’s Liberation Army Submarine Force of Communist China.

In 2017, 28% of submarines were out of commission. By 2022, it was 33%, and now it’s 37%. At the rate that the woke Naval brass are going, most subs will soon be out of order.

But Carlos Del Toro will slime his way into a CNN interview while accusing critics of standing with Communist Cuba for expecting him to prioritize military readiness over his unholy love for killing babies in the womb.

You know who else loved abortion almost as much as Del Toro? Fidel Castro who made his dictatorship one of the first countries to fully legalize abortion.

Cuba at one point had 60 abortions to 100 live births. A record that could only make Margaret Sanger get on her knees with murderous joy while Biden performs a jig. One that Carlos Del Toro must love.

In a Nov. 22 story for the news website CUBANET, independent journalist Eliseo Matos cited an abortion study by Cuban doctors Luisa Álvarez Vásquez and Nelli Salomón Avich. They found that since 1980, one-third of all Cuban pregnancies have been terminated.

Equally troubling, abortion rates are high among adolescents and often mandated by the state.

Children learn about human sexuality from their communist teachers, in purely mechanical terms of course. Generations of teens have been taken away from their families and sent to work camps in the countryside as part of their indoctrination.

As Mr. Valladares wrote in The Wall Street Journal in May 2000, “Away from all parental supervision for nine months at a time, children there suffer from venereal disease, as well as teenage pregnancy, which inevitably ends in forced abortion.” Another reason for high adolescent abortion rates is that teenage prostitutes now populate the streets of Havana, working for hard currency from tourists.

Abortion is also a key regime tool for “health care.” Any pregnancy considered risky is immediately terminated, a decision made by the state. This drives down infant mortality rates, which Cuba uses to impress the world about its “progress.”

Maybe Del Toro, Biden and their Communist movement should stop trying to make America like Cuba.
