NextImg:Biden Meets With Sharpton, Vows to Fight 'Hate'

Joe Biden met with figures in the latest ‘March on Washington’ including Al Sharpton whose National Action Network is a key organizer of the event. Even though Sharpton is a notorious bigot, Biden claimed him as an ally in the fight against ‘hate.’

“And as I’ve said to the country, we can’t let hate prevail. And it’s on the rise. It’s not — not diminishing,” Biden rambled inanely. “And so, we have to act against this hate-fueled violence and this — all that’s happening.”

August is the 32nd anniversary of the Crown Heights Pogrom, the worst antisemitic riot in the nation’s history, in which Al Sharpton memorably featured. It was one of a number of ugly incidents of violence and hate that had Sharpton’s name tied to it.

If Biden wants to know anything about “hate-fueled violence”, he can ask Al Sharpton. Or perhaps the dead in Crown Heights and at Freddy’s Fashion Mart in Harlem.

Al also knows a whole lot about just plain hate.

“White folks was in the caves while we was building empires. … We built pyramids before Donald Trump ever knew what architecture was. … We taught philosophy and astrology and mathematics before Socrates and them Greek homos ever got around to it.”

This is what Joe Biden decided to embrace as the antidote to hate.
