As students file back into classrooms and march onto athletic fields this fall, K-12 schools in blue states across the nation continue to violate President Donald Trump’s executive orders halting the dangerous trans agenda in schools.

If anyone in America still doubts how insidious this reality-denying movement is, they should look to Annunciation Catholic Church School in Minneapolis where trans-identified male gunman Robin (formerly Robert) Westman mowed down innocent schoolchildren in a hail of bullets on Wednesday, killing two (ages 8 and 10) and injuring 17 others before cowardly taking his own life.

Nor is Westman the first transgender criminal to channel his mental health struggles into mass violence.  Libs of TikTok highlighted the disturbing pattern, posting on X: “Minnesota Church Shooting: Trans. Republican Party Firebombing: Gender Fluid. Nashville Shooter: Trans. Colorado Tesla Arsonist: Trans. Colorado Springs shooter: Nonbinary. Aberdeen shooter: Trans. Denver school shooter: Trans. Iowa school shooter: Trans/genderfluid. AMC stabber: Trans. Are you starting to see a pattern here? IT’S AN EPIDEMIC.”

Westman is the tragic end result of an ideology that shuns reality and insists on validating fantasy—to the detriment of women, children, and the collective sanity of our nation at large. The carnage at Annunciation Catholic and the other sites of trans violence may be the most devastating consequence of trans ideology, but the innocents who were shot or killed in those instances are far from its only victims. At schools across America, particularly in blue states led by Democrat governors, biological reality continues to be shoved aside in favor of genderbending woke madness—and children continue to suffer.

Back in February, Trump, flanked by dozens of cheering female athletes of all ages, signed an executive order on “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports” which banned biological males from competing in women’s sports at all levels of competition. “With this executive order the war on women’s sports is over,” President Trump declared. “From now on women’s sports will only be for women.”

In another executive order on “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government,” the President declared “It is the policy of the United States to recognize two sexes, male and female.  These sexes are not changeable and are grounded in fundamental and incontrovertible reality.  Under my direction, the Executive Branch will enforce all sex-protective laws to promote this reality.”

But some school districts, particularly in blue states, continue to deliberately defy the law and put the legal rights, safety, and privacy of students at risk.

At James B. Conant High School in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, a male player was selected for the women’s volleyball team. According to Reduxx, an online news source dedicated to women’s rights and child safeguarding, “The boy, who stands 6’4″, was chosen for the team despite never having played volleyball before.”

Only 24 players were chosen for the competitive volleyball roster, meaning that of the 70-odd girls who went out for the team, only 23 were selected—along with the lone male who displaced a female athlete. Parents of athletes on the team told reporters that the male was also allowed to use the girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms and that girls who felt uncomfortable were told to use the nurse’s office to change.

Parents in the school district were understandably outraged and did not hesitate to speak out at a virulent school board meeting.

“You have a right to feel how you feel about your own gender… but when you enter a protected private girls-only space as a biological male… you are infringing upon the rights of those to their privacy and protected spaces,” commented one mother who is also a high school teacher.

“My daughter will not hide in spaces where she was told she would be protected, and she will not be counseled into feeling comfortable taking her clothes off in front of a 6-foot-4 biological male,” she added.

“Do you want your daughters changing in the locker room, and next to them is a penis?,” another speaker at the meeting asked frankly. “Do you want your girls to talk about girl stuff, their periods, whatever that might be, next to someone that has male genitalia?…I can tell you at Conant, that’s what’s happening … yes, it’s one person right now, but if we allow it to happen, it’s just going to keep happening.”

The longtime coach of the girls’ volleyball team is reported to have resigned rather than oversee this farce.

Following the public outcry, news sources are now reporting that the male athlete has resigned from the team, but no confirmation has yet been given by the school district.

Illinois School District 211 referred inquiring reporters to their gender policy which stands in direct opposition to President Trump’s executive order. It states that “No student shall, based on sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity be denied equal access…to educational and extracurricular programs and activities” and adds that “Students shall be treated and supported in a manner consistent with their gender identity, which shall include students having access to restrooms and locker rooms that correspond to their gender identity.”

Meanwhile, in Loudoun County, Virginia, two boys have each been suspended for two weeks on the grounds of “sexual harassment” and “sex-based discrimination” because they dared to correctly identify a female student who not only invaded the boys’ locker room where they were changing but also recorded a video of the incident on her cell phone.

If the Loudoun County school district sounds familiar, it should. This is the same school district where a few years ago a female student was sexually assaulted in a girls’ bathroom by a trans-identified male student who was then allowed to transfer to another school in the district while administrators attempted to cover up his crime.

The recent locker room incident took place last semester at Stone Bridge High School where a biological female student, who identifies as male, was permitted by school administrators to use the boys’ locker room. If this wasn’t bad enough, the female student clearly violated school policy by recording the boys’ understandably shocked reactions to seeing a girl walk into the locker room where they change clothes.

In the video recorded by the trans-identifying girl, the boys can be heard reacting to her unwelcome and unexpected presence. “There’s a girl in here?” calls out one boy, sounding alarmed.  “There’s a girl?” echoes another male student. “Why is there a girl?” one of the boys again asks adding, “I’m so uncomfortable there is a girl. A female, bro get out of here.”

In the warped judgment of Loudoun County school district officials, this entirely justified reaction to the presence of a female in what is supposed to be a male-only intimate space is grounds for a two-week suspension and a no-contact order with the girl who invaded their locker room.

In response, the federal Department of Education led by Trump-appointee Linda McMahon announced it is cutting federal funding to LCPS and four other Northern Virginia districts due to their violation of Title IX and civil rights law by “allowing students to occupy intimate facilities based on gender identity, not biological sex.”

“States and school districts cannot openly violate federal law while simultaneously receiving federal funding with no additional scrutiny,” said Secretary of Education Linda McMahon. “We have given these Northern Virginia School Divisions every opportunity to rectify their policies which blatantly violate Title IX.”

McMahon has taken the right tack. Far too many school districts in democratic strongholds continue to violate federal civil rights law and allow trans students to cause havoc by identifying into sports and spaces reserved for the opposite sex. We also need a larger movement to outlaw the promotion of gender ideology and the fantasy that human beings can be born in wrong body in public schools. We must support the Trump administration’s pledge to hold the line and let practitioners of this radical gender nonsense know that their rainbow carnival is over. We will see more Robin Westmans if we don’t.
