NextImg:After 5-Year-Old Killed, Chicago Pols Condemn Trump for Trying to Fight Crime

Chicago politicians like Mayor Brandon Johnson refuse to fight crime, instead they support criminals. Now a 5-year-old boy is dead among the massive toll of Chicago’s endless crime wave over the recent weekend.

6 dead, 27 hurt in Chicago weekend shootings, police say – CBS Chicago

Here’s a sample.

In the first shooting of the weekend, a 33-year-old woman was driving just before 7 p.m. in the 1900 block of West 66th Street when she suffered a gunshot wound to her right eye.

That was Friday’s first shooting. Here’s Saturday’s first shooting.

At 12:15 a.m. in the 1700 block of North Harding Avenue, a 25-year-old woman was outside when she was shot in the shoulder and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.

And the first shooting of Sunday.

At 12:25 a.m. in the 3000 block of South Hamlin Avenue, a man, whose age was not released, told police he was in the alley when he heard gunshots, felt pain, and realized he was shot in the eye. The suspects fled the scene. Fire crews arrived on the scene to treat the victim and took him to Mt. Sinai in critical condition.

Illinois and Chicago Dems think this is perfectly normal and are outraged that President Trump wants to put a stop to the fun.

State and city leaders united Downtown Monday to call on President Donald Trump to keep federal troops out of Chicago.

“If this was really about fighting crime and making the streets safe, what possible justification could the White House have for planning such an exceptional action without any conversations or consultations with the governor, the mayor or the police,” Pritzker said. “To invade our streets and neighborhoods and disrupt the lives of everyday people is an extraordinary action, and it should require extraordinary justification.”

“If you hurt my people, nothing will stop me, not time or political circumstance, from making sure that you face justice under our constitutional rule of law,” Pritzker said.

“Hurt my people”?

So far, there were 278 murders this year, 1,296 people shot, and so far, 191 people shot this August. In Chicago, not Iraq.

The only ones being hurt here are the people of Chicago by the criminals unleashed by Johnson and Pritzker.
