“All Turkish people believe so.  I condemn it.   We Turkish people are standing with the Azerbaijani people in this incident in condemning this terror attack in Iran.  In this attack where one person lost his life, we also send our sincere condolences to the family of this person.  It is good that with the courage of the Azerbaijani Security Forces, the fatalities were limited to one person.  The terrorists intended to kill everyone in the embassy.   This issue has to be investigated.  It is a very serious issue.  The Turkish people are standing next to the Azerbaijani people in this terror attack and we support them in stating that this terror attack has to be investigated.”

“If you watch the video carefully, you see that the Iranian policeman at the entrance does not seem disturbed about the entrance of an armed man.  This is not the reaction of a normal policeman.  Obviously, he had orders to behave like that.   This is reinforced by the fact that the perpetrator had access to Iranian TV.  This is not the normal reaction of a state if they do not want an attack to happen.”

“Dr. Mordechai Kedar, a member of the Board of the Dona Gracia Center for Diplomacy, stated that the Iranian regime stands behind this horrific attack and that he believes that this terror attack is connected to International Holocaust Memorial Day.   Dr. Kedar said he believes that Iran is sending a message to Azerbaijan not to cooperate with Israel, after Azerbaijan decided to open up a new embassy in Tel Aviv, but we know that the cooperation will continue for Jews have been living peacefully in Azerbaijan for centuries and the ties between both nations are rock solid, and only growing.  Israel stood behind Azerbaijan during the Second Karabakh War and will do so in the future, while Iran deprives Azerbaijanis in Tabriz the right to study in their mother tongue.”

“This terrible attack that took place on International Holocaust Memorial Day is just one more example of how Iran is a state sponsor of terrorism.   As Rachel Avraham, CEO of the Dona Gracia Center for Diplomacy, stated on her Facebook page, ‘Just as Iran attacked the American Embassy in 1979 and the Israeli Embassy in Argentina in 1992, now they are going after the Azerbaijani Embassy in Iran in 2023. The time has come for this murderous regime to fall. The time has come for South Azerbaijan to obtain independence.’”

“I think that Iran became the capital of the terror organizations.  Every case of terror can be blamed on Iran.  All the organizations that are fundamentalist, Iran supports them including Hamas, Hezbollah and others.   There are other organizations that Iran supports and does not say anything, like Boko Haram.  I am very sorry that the UN did not to push to stop this.  I think that all of the world must shake hands to stop Iran from getting dangerous weapons.   I think that what happened in the Azerbaijani Embassy in Tehran happened because they opened up their embassy in Tel Aviv, which is something hated by the leadership in Iran.  It is very sad that the Western side that most of them continue to cooperate with Iran.   They have to sanction them to return to the same level of sanctions that Trump supported before.”

“I strongly condemn the attack on the Azerbaijani Embassy in Tehran.  This is an ideology fueled by violence and revenge, and all it needs is hatred.  Iran wants to create a second Lebanon inside Azerbaijan.   Along with its strategic partners, Iran seeks to exist in these lands with sectarian conflicts.  In fact, it is not a coincidence that the act of burning the Quran and the Torah in Sweden took place at the same time.   Azerbaijan no longer wants Iranian influence in state institutions.   This will push Iran to be more aggressive.”

“The West therefore must not only condemn this attack but also hold the Iranian regime responsible for that.  This is a matter of ethics and interests.  If there are no sanctions or strong reaction after that, all of the embassies could be the next one.    The Islamist regime in Tehran began with the invasion of the American Embassy, so it is obviously not new for them to unlawfully attack an embassy.”
