A "strategic plan" for enhancing receptivity in masculine-coded cohorts.
Jake Tapper curses Democrats (for behaving like journalists).

What a week. We learned that Democrats are planning to spend $20 million to "study the syntax, language and content that gains attention and virality" in masculine-coded heteronormative sociocultural cohorts. It's called SAM, which is short for "Speaking with American Men: A Strategic Plan." It sounds too stupid to be real, but we were able to confirm its authenticity by exclusively (and semi-legally) obtaining an early draft of the report:

Jake Tapper sees the light: The CNN host claims to have finally noticed that the mainstream media's political affiliate, the Democratic Party, has a tendency to be obnoxiously condescending towards men and to denounce their opponents as evil racists. Tapper recently appeared on a "left-leaning podcast" where one of the hosts made a "joke" about how his teenage son might be racist because he wants to be a police officer.
"They asked me about my son, and I said he's a football player and he wants to be a policeman, and their joke was, about my 15-year-old son, 'Oh, how does he feel about minorities?' Like the idea that he wants to be a policeman, therefore he's racist, my son," Tapper recalled. "That was the big laugh, and then I got dragged in the comments and all that stuff, and I thought to myself, 'This is why you fuckers are losing elections.'"
Bullshit alert: It's hard to say whether Tapper has genuinely soured on the Democratic Party or if it's all part of the carefully orchestrated public relations strategy surrounding the launch of his new book, Original Sin, which conveniently whitewashes the media's role in helping the White House lie to the public about Joe Biden's cognitive decline. One of the hosts of the liberal podcast, fashion consultant Chris Black of How Long Gone, did not find Tapper's outrage convincing. "Him willfully choosing to take a joke wrong, that he definitely knew what it was in the moment, I would say, is only a pro move," Black said. "He spun it for his own gain, and it's working."
It's unlikely to occur to Tapper that CNN has been a willing participant in the Democratic Party's efforts to disparage cops as instruments of white supremacy and denigrate young men who enjoy football. Last year, for example, when the election was on the line and he wasn't promoting a book, Tapper and his CNN colleague Dana Bash gushed about how Democrats were redefining masculinity at the party's convention. Bash lavished praise on Tim Walz and Doug Emhoff for their ability to "speak to men out there who might not be the sort of testosterone-laden, you know, gun-toting kind of guy who wants to listen to Hulk Hogan and the kind of players that came out at the [Republican convention]." Tapper agreed that there were "different definitions of masculinity in 2024 and what we saw at the Trump convention," citing critics who denounced the GOP speaking lineup as "testosterone-y."
In any event, Tapper's son goes to Sidwell Friends (annual tuition: $60,000), the preferred private school of the Beltway elite. The odds of him ending up as a police officer are significantly lower than the odds of him graduating from Dartmouth and getting an internship with one of his dad's celebrity friends.

Jew-haters for Harris: Elderly white women, WNBA fans, and transgender grad students weren't the only demographic groups who felt the joy of Kamala's vibes in 2024. She was also quite popular among tunnel-dwelling terrorists of color living abroad. Omer Shem Tov, an Israeli who spent more than 500 days in Hamas captivity, revealed this week that the terrorist goons holding him hostage "wanted Kamala to be elected" and were "very scared" of Donald Trump. "They understood he wants to bring the hostages back home," Shem Tov said. "When Trump became president, the way they treated us changed ... more food, treated me better, stopped cursing me, stopped spitting on me."
Related: In an effort to placate the student radicals supporting Hamas on campus, Northwestern University hired a professor with organizational ties to the terrorist group, the Free Beacon's Jessica Costescu reports.
Democrats vs. the Democratic Party: The people who lied about Biden's fitness for office would like everyone to stop dwelling on the past. Now that that's settled, Democrats would also like everyone to forget about all the insane policies they've supported over the past several years. This is especially true of the Democrats who are thinking about running for president in 2028. Pete Buttigieg, who served as Biden's transportation secretary but never questioned the president's mental acuity, doesn't want to "wallow in hindsight."
Nevertheless, Buttigieg said this week that Democrats should have figured out a way to "get schools open sooner" during the COVID-19 pandemic. It's a charming fantasy that elides the fact that Democrats and their allies, including teachers' unions and the media, accused Republicans of trying to murder people by opening schools. As Buttigieg's own husband, Chasten, told Time in 2020: "I don’t want to see teachers leaving the profession on gurneys."

Democrats vs. education: We needn't look to the past to find examples of Democrats supporting insane policies. This week, the San Francisco public school system unveiled a new "Grading for Equity" system that would restore fairness by disincentivizing effort and abolishing failure. "Unveil" isn't the right word, actually, because the school board attempted to secretly enact the scheme without telling anyone. Under the new system, homework and weekly tests would not count toward a student's final grade, which would be based entirely on a final exam that can be taken multiple times and is graded on a ridiculous curve. A score of 80 out of 100 would be considered an A, while scores as low as 41 would result in a passing grade of C. Students would not even be penalized for never attending class.
What they're saying: "It's hard to see the difference between this policy and what you’d get if a bunch of 10-year-olds locked the teachers in a closet and rewrote the rules," wrote journalist Derek Thompson.

Democrats vs. Democratic voters: Senator Ruben Gallego of Arizona, a potential 2028 contender, became the latest Democrat to adopt a (somewhat) less crazy position on the issue of transgender athletes in women's sports. In what Politico described as a "rare deviation within the Democratic Party," Gallego said it was "legitimate" for parents to worry about "safety" and "fair competition" when it comes to transgender athletes playing women's sports. "There are some sports that some of these trans children should not be playing," the senator said, while arguing the decision should be left to "local institutions," a rare deviation from the Democratic approach to government in all other areas. As a congressman in 2021, Gallego supported the Equality Act, a controversial bill that would make "gender identity" a federally protected class, which some legal scholars have argued would make it illegal to ban transgender athletes from women's sports. Asked about his support for the bill, Gallego said he'd "have to go back and look at [it]."
Gallego's new position, while at odds with the Democratic Party and its activist allies, is shared by roughly 80 percent of the American public and two-thirds of Democratic voters, according to a recent New York Times poll.

Freak spotted in children's section of bookstore: James Comey is on tour promoting his new crime novel about "far-right extremism." He was recently spotted in the children's section of a bookstore in McLean, Va., a place teeming with elderly white liberals who admire his courage and "Rachel Maddow good looks." The poor souls who attended this "event" were presumably among the only people on the planet who saw Comey's recent appearance on MSNBC with Jen Psaki, the former Biden press secretary whose ratings are almost as bad as Joy Reid's were before the network fired her. Doing what comes naturally for any guest on MSNBC, Comey denounced the entire Republican Party as "white supremacist-adjacent, at a minimum." Asked to clarify or defend his remarks at the book signing, Comey said he "didn't want to answer that." What a pussy.
What they're saying: An anonymous voter once said this about former New York City mayor Bill de Blasio during his ill-fated presidential campaign in 2019, but it's just as relevant to Comey in 2025: "Come clean my roof you monster."
BLM journalist is total creep: Wesley Lowery, the former Washington Post reporter who became a liberal celebrity in 2014 after he was arrested in a McDonald's and briefly jailed during the anti-police riots in Ferguson, Mo., has been credibly accused of sexual assault.
When they go low, we whoop they ass: Two female Secret Service officers were suspended after brawling outside Barack and Michelle Obama's mansion in Washington, D.C., last week. "Can I get a supervisor out here," one of the officers said over the radio, "before I whoop this girl's ass." Video here.

Smack de Triomphe: French president Emmanuel Macron, 47, was physically and verbally abused by his 72-year-old wife, Brigitte, after their plane touched down in Vietnam. "Stay away, you loser," she reportedly told him as they descended the stairs. Moments earlier, she had reached out and smacked her husband in the face just as the door was opening. Macron, who first met Brigitte when he was 15 and she ran the drama club at his Jesuit high school, claims they were just "bickering and rather joking around" as they "often do." We hope he finds the courage to seek help.
Reminder, for what it's worth: June is Alzheimer's Awareness Month, so please keep our nominal former president Joe Biden in your thoughts and prayers, especially on June 15, which is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. There is a second Alzheimer's Awareness Month in November, which makes sense because who is going to remember? Not Joe Biden, who is doubtful to survive that long.
News you can use: Hollywood starlet Sydney Sweeney is selling soap infused with her "actual bathwater."

Photo of the week: Nancy Mace, who made history last week as the first lawmaker in history to enter a (disappointingly grainy) nude photo of herself into the congressional record, crouches in heels.
