Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday tapped Minnesota governor Tim Walz as her running mate, and the media couldn't stop themselves from fawning over the pick.

The media agreed Walz is a "cuddly," a "happy warrior," and a "safe pick" for Harris, with MSNBC's Chuck Todd labeling Walz "a younger version of Joe Biden" and praising how the Minnesota governor "speaks American."
