Today is the third anniversary of the January 6 uprising on Capitol Hill. On the one hand, Democrats and journalists consider Jan. 6, 2021, to be the worst day in the history of Western civilization. On the other hand, who cares?

January 6 is a day that should live in dignity, a day for Americans to celebrate each year in the company of family and friends. There are so many reasons to celebrate.

For instance, it was on this day in 2001 that George W. Bush and Dick Cheney were officially certified as the winners of the presidential election, marking an end to the Democratic Party's nefarious efforts to undermine the American people's faith in our cherished democracy.

Bush is widely regarded as one of the greatest presidents in our country's history.
