Zoe Bundy, a 49-year-old office administrator from Merseyside, was sentenced to 12 months in prison, suspended for two years, after defrauding her employer of over £33,000 to fund vacations. She redirected supplier payments to her personal account while working at North West Climate Services.
The fraud, which occurred over nine months in 2023, was discovered when the managing director received tax notices from HMRC. Bundy has been ordered to complete rehabilitation activities and cover court costs. The managing director expressed deep personal and financial distress due to her betrayal.
