Breitbart: IRS Removed ‘Entire Investigative Team’ from Hunter Biden Probe
The IRS has removed the entire investigative team working on the Hunter Biden case, at the request of President Biden's Department of Justice. The whistleblower, who is supervised for the Hunter Biden investigation since 2020, has alleged "preferential treatment" and that Attorney General Merrick Garland gave false testimony to Congress. The decision to remove the investigative team is being called retaliatory. Hunter Biden is being investigated for tax violations relating to his foreign business affairs.
Breitbart: Hutchinson: Trump Will Use Durham Report to 'Undermine All of Law Enforcement'
Gov. Asa Hutchinson warns that former President Donald Trump will use the Durham probe to undermine law enforcement and institutions, rather than for serious reform. He acknowledges that the FBI has made mistakes but cautions against criticism that would undermine the respect the justice system deserves.
The Epoch Times: House Panel Advances Police Bills in Party-Line Vote After Contentious Hearing
The House Rules Committee approved three resolutions to start National Police Week. The Republican majority outvoted the Democrats 8 to 3 with the Democrats claiming ingratitude towards law enforcement, and the Republicans accusing them of hypocrisy. The bills make illegal aliens who assault police automatically subject to deportation, express support for local law enforcement while condemning efforts to defund or dismantle police departments, and allow federal law enforcement officers to purchase their service weapons when the guns are retired.
Breitbart: 'Treason': Trump Sounds Off After Durham Report Shows FBI Malfeasance
Former President Trump criticizes FBI for investigation into his 2016 campaign, calling it "treason" and "2020 Presidential Election Fraud."
Special Counsel John Durham's report stated that the FBI should have never launched its investigation into the Trump campaign for Russian collusion. The report highlighted the FBI's failure to uphold rigorous standards, senior personnel's lack of analytical rigor towards information received, and the lack of appropriate objectivity or restraint in pursuit of allegations of collusion.
Breitbart: Hawley: 'We Need to End the FBI as We Know It'
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) believes that the findings of the Durham probe showed the need for the FBI to be overhauled and that people need to be prosecuted for their actions. Hawley also suggested that the FBI leadership needed to be changed and that the organization should be broken up due to its politicization.
The Epoch Times: Victorian Liberal Party Willingly Bombs Itself Into the Dark Ages
The Victorian Liberal Party is experiencing its own "Dark Ages." The mistreatment of MP Moira Deeming, who attended a women's rights rally and was then accused of being a Nazi sympathizer by members of her own party, has led to her expulsion from the parliamentary Liberal Party. This will have long-lasting effects on the party's future electoral success, as it has lost sight of its roots and abandoned conservative and traditional values.
Breitbart: Democrat North Carolina Governor Vetoes 12-Week Abortion Ban
NC Gov. Roy Cooper vetoed a bill that would protect unborn babies from abortion after 12 weeks of gestation, calling for "an even higher gear" from Democrats to block the override the GOP will pursue. The bill, which extends the limit through 20 weeks for rape and incest and through 24 weeks for "life-limiting" fetal anomalies, was deemed a "middle-ground change to state abortion laws," by Republicans. Scientific research shows an unborn baby at 12 weeks of gestation has already formed major organs and has a heartbeat of more than ten million times, sucking their thumbs and responding to touch.

Breitbart: California Reparations Panel Wants State to Review Local Real Estate Ordinances
California’s Task Force on Reparations has proposed a program to address past housing discrimination in the form of reviewing local real estate ordinances and other measures aimed at increasing access to home ownership and promoting racial diversity. These proposals would require state approval for any significant change in zoning and accommodate subsidies for down payments and homeowner’s insurance, amongst other measures, to promote affordable housing for African American Californians. The recommendations have yet to be considered by the state government.
Fox News: Residents, business owners fleeing Dem-run cities in droves as homeless camps wreak havoc: 'Absolute madness'
Homeless encampments are on the rise, causing businesses to flee major Democrat-run cities like Portland, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Residents describe feeling unsafe as homeless individuals engage in crime, drug use, and violence. Some encampments have been cleared by police, but the problem often reoccurs due to lenient government policies and lack of penalties for crimes. The root cause of the problem is attributed to the decriminalization of drugs, which leads to an increase in somnolent and unproductive individuals who are incapable of holding down a job.

The Epoch Times: Australian PM Believes Breakthrough in Trade Relationship with China Is Possible
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese expresses hope for resolving the trade war with China following Trade Minister Don Farrell's recent visit to Beijing. Albanese views the in-person talks as a positive sign towards resolving the two countries’ prolonged trade and diplomatic disputes, emphasizing the importance of the Australian-China trade relationship. Farrell describes his meeting with Wang Wentao as "warm and constructive," hoping that China will lift trade tariffs on some Australian commodities, but notes that the disputes will not be resolved overnight. He also mentions that Wang raised concerns about whether Chinese companies were treated fairly in Australia.
The Epoch Times: ANALYSIS: China’s Heightened Use of ‘Exit Bans’ Creates Hostile Environment for Foreign Firms
China's increased use of "exit bans" could lead to a widespread exodus of foreign companies, contradicting the country's desire to attract foreign investment. The authoritarian regime has passed 15 laws to allow such bans and applied them more broadly, affecting tens of thousands of Chinese nationals and an increasing number of foreign nationals. The new anti-espionage law, which will be enacted on July 1, allows authorities to impose exit bans on anyone under investigation, raising concerns of increased scrutiny and arbitrary charges against foreign firms. The atmosphere of anxiety has already spread among foreign enterprises in China, causing many to decouple and move their supply chains out of the country.

Fox News: The Bud Light controversy is not going away. Here's why
Bud Light sales continue to plummet five weeks after its partnership with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney caused controversy. Business school research suggests that key determinants for a boycott's success are consumers' ability to impact the bottom line and the ease of switching to a competitor. Bud Light sales are reported weekly, making it impossible for Anheuser-Busch to starve the boycott of data. Companies should focus on their brand and stay out of political debates to avoid a loss of trust from customers. They must publicly commit to staying out of political issues moving forward.
The Epoch Times: 80 Years Before Australia Reaches Net-Zero Goals: Former Snowy Hydro CEO
Former CEO of Australia’s largest renewable energy provider, Paul Broad, has criticized the Albanese Labor government’s green energy policies and said the government will fail to meet its target of producing 82 percent of the country’s energy from renewable sources by 2030, calling the notion "not viable." The Albanese government’s energy minister, Chris Bowen, declined to comment on Broad’s assertions but pointed to several policies, including the $20 billion Rewiring the Nation policy to underwrite high-voltage transmission lines and the Net Zero Authority, which is supposed to be a one-stop-shop for workers in the industry. However, the cost of pursuing net-zero continues to rise along with new local challenges, including the cost of valuable minerals increasing on average by 93 percent since the pandemic and concerns about transmission infrastructure required to facilitate net-zero.

Fox News: AI defines ‘ideal body type’ per social media – here’s what it looks like
AI generated images of the "ideal" human body based on social media data show widely "unrealistic" body images and promote unrealistic body types, according to a study by the Bulimia Project. The results from online tools like Dall-E 2, Stable Diffusion and Midjourney found 40% of overall photos depicted "unrealistic" body types and a bias towards olive skin and masculine attributes. The study was launched in response to the harmful effect of social media on children's mental health, but experts have warned of the impact on adults, too, and the negative effect such AI images can have on self-image.

Fox News: Washington state scrambles to pass drug possession law before decriminalization deadline
Washington lawmakers must pass new drug laws before July 1 to prevent the state from decriminalizing possession of hard drugs. The state Supreme Court struck down the previous felony ban on drug possession last year as unconstitutional. If lawmakers can't agree on a new law, possession will become a misdemeanor offense, opening the way for cities to set their own drug laws. Neighbouring Oregon decriminalized drug possession in 2020, but criticism has grown as overdose deaths continue to rise. Washington lawmakers have 30 days to reach a consensus, and a special session has been called by the governor.
The Epoch Times: Supreme Court Sides With Inmate Who Wants to Be Executed With Nitrogen Gas
The Supreme Court refused to set aside a stay of execution for a condemned man in Alabama who wants to be executed by nitrogen gas instead of lethal injection. Alabama was prepared to execute Kenneth Eugene Smith by lethal injection in November 2022, but state officials struggled to gain adequate access to his veins before the death warrant expired. Last year, the state put executions on hold while it reviewed difficulties it experienced in multiple cases when it tried to carry out lethal injections. Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall is disappointed in the denial by the U.S. Supreme Court .

Fox News: AI may issue harsher punishments, severe judgments than humans: Study
A new study from MIT researchers found that artificial intelligence (AI) makes more severe judgment calls and is more prone to issue harsher punishments and penalties for rule breakers when not trained properly. If used to predict the likelihood of criminal reoffending, this could result in longer jail sentences or higher bail prices. The researchers created hypothetical code settings and found that when AI is trained with descriptive data, it often over-predicts violations, leading to more false predictions. They argue that data transparency could assist with this issue.
