GB News: Metropolitan Police accused of 'turning a blind eye' amid failure to act after Prince Harry's court case
Scotland Yard is facing criticism for its inaction regarding Prince Harry's phone hacking case against Mirror Group Newspapers, despite a High Court ruling that awarded him £150,000 in damages. The police have not initiated an investigation, even after evidence of "widespread and habitual" phone hacking was presented.
Prince Harry has called on various authorities to take action against MGN, expressing frustration over the lack of response from the Metropolitan Police. Critics argue that the delay undermines public trust in the justice system and accountability within the British press.

Fox News: Ancient treasure, largest of its kind in Israel, found buried in 2,100-year-old kitchen
Archaeologists in Israel uncovered a significant cache of 160 ancient coins dating back to the Hellenistic period during an excavation in the Jordan Valley. The coins, minted under King Alexander Jannaeus, are believed to be the largest of their kind found in Israel and were discovered in a site used as a road station.
The find, announced by the University of Haifa, holds special meaning as it coincided with Hanukkah amid ongoing conflict in the region. The coins feature inscriptions in both Aramaic and Greek, and the excavation site also included a mikveh and a water reservoir.

Le Monde: Medicine examines racial bias in healthcare
Medical students at Hôpital Saint-Antoine are attending a new course on "differentiated care, discrimination and racism in healthcare." This course, created in 2023, addresses implicit racial biases that can affect medical treatment, a topic that remains underexplored in France.
Led by midwife Priscille Sauvegrain and psychologist Racky Ka-Sy, the course aims to raise awareness among future doctors about these biases, despite the Hippocratic oath's commitment to non-discrimination in patient care.
