Concerned Americans are rallying together and planning a convoy to address the influx of illegal migrants at the southern border. Their goal is to close the border, deport illegal immigrants, and combat drug and human trafficking. These groups are traveling from Virginia Beach to Texas, with rallies along the way. 
President Joe Biden is accused of using an unfinished border deal as an excuse to avoid securing the border during the 2024 election campaign. Pro-American groups argue that the deal favors business interests and does not set significant limits on job-seeking migrants. Former President Donald Trump is expected to oppose the deal once details are released. 
Biden's release of the border deal coincides with a large inflow of migrants, which is causing damage and is unpopular among the public. Biden and his media allies are seeking GOP endorsement of the deal to claim success in addressing the migration problem. While deals with Mexico are reducing migrant arrivals, Biden has other secret agreements in place and doesn't necessarily need the law to block migration. The overflow of shelters in Democratic cities is leaving many migrants on the streets. The economic effects of extraction migration, such as depressed wages, are also negative.
