The rise of anti-Zionism is fueling a resurgence of anti-Semitism, as evidenced by the recent Hamas attacks on Israel. This hatred extends beyond the Middle East, with anti-Semitic sentiment growing on college campuses and in European cities. The West must recognize this threat and take a stand against it.
Townhall: Antisemitism Is a Cancer That Will Not Go Away
Antisemitism is deeply ingrained and cannot be defeated. Western countries must contain and make it painful for those expressing Jew-hatred. Education cannot eliminate bigotry rooted in visceral hate. Antisemitic sentiments have various baseless justifications. The West must enforce consequences for public antisemitic behavior through job loss, expulsion from universities, and prosecution. Immigration from countries with endemic antisemitism should be reduced. Antisemitism cannot be eliminated, but with strong leadership, it can be contained and reduced to protect the future of Jews in Western societies.
