The Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) has reached an agreement with Junts per Catalunya (Together for Catalonia) to win the support of Catalan separatists and pave the way for the re-appointment of outgoing Socialist prime minister Pedro Sánchez. The agreement includes a possible amnesty law for those involved in the 2014 pro-independence consultation and the 2017 illegal referendum, as well as negotiations for financial independence and a referendum on self-determination for Catalonia.
