The American Mind: Lame Conservativism
Conservatism needs a new approach. The current focus on moralism and tradition is not inspiring the American people, especially the youth. The Right must embrace the spirit of adventure, beauty, and dynamism to win over the younger generation. Young men want excitement, camaraderie, and competition, not lectures on duty and moderation. If conservatives fail to offer a positive vision of the future, they will continue to lose the war for the hearts and minds of the American people. It's time for a change if conservatism wants to remain relevant.

National Review: The Corner: Ohio Pro-Lifers Should Not Despair Over a Recent Poll on Issue 1
A recent poll suggests that a majority of Ohio voters plan to support Issue 1, a ballot proposition that would place legal abortion in the state constitution. However, there are factors that give hope to pro-lifers, including the tendency for support to decline as elections near and the possibility of undecided voters breaking against the proposition. Additionally, the poll's sample size was relatively small, and the way the question was framed likely influenced the responses. It is important for opponents of Issue 1 to effectively engage with voters who believe in some limits on abortion but still support its legality, as many pro-life laws would be at risk if the proposition passes.
