Zach Bryan is having the best week of his musical career, but it’s not all celebrating for the popular musician. The singer-songwriter is now in some sort of legal entanglement, as being the biggest star in America doesn’t mean he can’t get himself into trouble.

According to TMZ, Bryan was arrested on Thursday (September 7). The country and rock star was reportedly booked in Vinita, Oklahoma. The site states that the musician was arrested on an obstruction of investigation charge, citing jail records made available online. The website also published Bryan’s mugshot along with the story.

There were no more details made available about what may have caused police to arrest Bryan, and so far, he hasn’t commented on the incident. It is also not clear if Bryan will have to return to Oklahoma to answer for any crimes, or if the entire affair is over and done with.

Bryan is currently riding high as the king of the Billboard charts. The now-superstar is sitting at No. 1 on both of the two most important rankings published by the music magazine, the Billboard 200 and Hot 100.

On the Billboard 200, which ranks the most-consumed albums in the U.S., his just-released self-titled project opened as high as a set can climb. The CD arrives at No. 1 with 200,000 copies moved in the past week. It is expected that Zach Bryan will keep at No. 1 next week, perhaps with another 100,000-plus units shifted.

Over on the Hot 100, Bryan debuts his single “I Remember Everything” at No. 1. He and duet partner Kacey Musgraves both earn their first leader on the list of the most-consumed songs in America with the tune. All 16 tracks from Bryan’s new album also find space on the Hot 100, which is a feat reserved for only the biggest stars in the music industry. As if that wasn’t enough of a show of force, he has two other songs on the ranking as well, which means he owns nearly 20% of the entire roster.
