The man allegedly made plans to take physical action against Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and people responsible for former President Donald Trump’s prosecution, and the threats were deemed “credible,” one unnamed official told ABC.
The investigation into the alleged threats began in April, and the FBI informed the U.S. Secret Service of the investigation in June, an official told ABC.
A shooting took place just after 6 a.m. local time Wednesday morning while special agents attempted to serve arrest and search warrants to a man at a Provo, Utah, residence, leading to his death FBI spokesperson Sandra Barker told Forbes—the agency did not confirm that the man threatened Biden.
