Trump shared a copy of the letter sent by his lawyers John Rowley and James Trusty on his Truth Social platform, without any additional comment.
The letter claims that “unlike” President Joe Biden and his son Hunter, Trump was being “treated unfairly.”
The lawyers reiterate many of Trump’s talking points about the investigations, calling them “outrageous and unlawful.”
The letter ends by requesting a meeting with Garland at the earliest “to discuss the ongoing injustice that is being perpetrated by your Special Counsel and his prosecutors.”
“No president of the United States has ever, in the history of our country, been baselessly investigated in such outrageous and unlawful fashion,” Rowley and Trusty wrote in the letter.
