Asked by reporters, Trump said he will testify “at the appropriate time,” multiple news organizations reported.

Trump is on the witness lists of his own legal team and the New York attorney general’s team, which brought the civil fraud case against him.

Three of Trump’s adult children, Don Jr., Eric and Ivanka Trump, are also listed as witnesses and could testify.

Trump appeared in court for the first two days of the trial on Monday and Tuesday.

Trump is facing allegations he defrauded banks, investors and other business partners by artificially inflating the value of his assets and net worth, at times by as much as $3.6 billion. A judge found Trump liable for fraud last week, but a trial is still necessary to review other allegations and decide on any potential penalties. The New York Attorney General’s office is asking the court to fine Trump $250 million, bar him from purchasing commercial real estate for five years and ban him and his children from leading companies in the state.

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
