In a post on his Truth Social platform, the former president and the sole remaining GOP candidate outlined plans for his first day in office if elected, and said he intends to “Free the January 6 Hostages being wrongfully imprisoned!”
Aside from this, Trump said his first acts would also be to “Close the Border” and “DRILL, BABY, DRILL”.

In its most recent statement about the cases, the Justice Department said more than 1,358 individuals from nearly all 50 states have been charged with crimes linked to the assault on the U.S. Capitol. This includes more than 486 individuals who have been hit with felony charges for assaulting or impeding law enforcement.
