The Trump Watch website describes the top-tier watch—the $100,000 Trump Victory Tourbillon—as “almost entirely made out of 18 Carat Gold and decorated with 122 Diamonds.”

With gold costing about $85.75 per gram as of Thursday morning, the “approximately 200 grams (of 18 Carat gold) across the band, case, and buckle” of the watch has a market price of about $17,150.

Trump’s premiere watch is also described as having 122 VS1 diamonds, though it does not specify the size of the diamonds.

The website for the watches clarifies they “are not political and have nothing to do with any political campaign,” and they are “not designed, manufactured, distributed or sold by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization or any of their respective affiliates or principals.”

Trump announced the watches—which come in two styles, each of which has three color finish options—on Truth Social Thursday morning, where he suggested they would make “a great Christmas gift.”

The more expensive Tourbillon style comes with two casebacks, one of which “features a unique, personalized ‘Thank You’ message” from Trump, and the less expensive Fighter style comes either in gold-plated stainless steel (for $799) or stainless steel (for $499).

  1. That’s how many Tourbillon watches are available, allowing them to be marketed as “a true collector’s item.” The watch website says they will not make more once they are sold out.

Trump has been releasing merchandise throughout the campaign season, most recently debuting $100 silver coins that were described as “99.9% fine silver.” He has also released Trump sneakers—which retailed for as high as $499—Trump cologne and perfume, as well as $60 Trump-branded Bibles and NFT cards. The sales have come as Trump’s ongoing legal cases have resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars of unpaid legal fees. The Los Angeles Times estimated the Bible sales generated about $300,000, and CBS News estimated Trump netted about $7.2 million from NFT licensing fees. The sale of watches has also come as Trump’s presidential campaign is being outspent by Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign. Politico reported that the Trump campaign raised about $45 million in fundraising last month, compared to $190 million raised by Harris.

We estimate Trump to have a net worth of about $3.7 billion, making him the 936th wealthiest person in the world as of Thursday.
