President Donald Trump posted a bizarre, AI-generated video depicting his apparent plans for real estate development in Gaza, depicting Elon Musk and a shirtless Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu vacationing at a “Trump Gaza” resort in the Palestinian territory.

Trump shared the video on his Truth Social account late Tuesday night, weeks after he said alongside Netanyahu at the White House the United States would plan to “take over the Gaza Strip” and “develop it.”

The video opens on war-torn images of Gaza before transitioning to videos of a beachfront resort, including shots of Musk eating and dancing, bearded bellydancers performing and Trump and Netanyahu—both shirtless—drinking poolside.

The AI-generated property is completely Trump-branded, with multiple images identifying the resort as “Trump Gaza,” a child holding a Trump balloon and a massive golden Trump statue on the property.

The video is set to an upbeat song with lyrics including: “Donald’s coming to set you free/ Bringing the light for all to see/ No more tunnels, no more fear/ Trump Gaza is finally here.”

At a White House meeting with Netanyahu earlier this month, Trump proposed the United States could take over Gaza and turn it into “the Riviera of the Middle East.” He suggested the roughly two million Palestinians currently living in Gaza should not return and should instead find a new “good, fresh, beautiful piece of land,” suggesting they could move to nearby countries including Jordan and Egypt. Trump said the redeveloped Gaza would house “the world’s people” and would be an “international unbelievable place.” At their meeting, Netanyahu praised Trump for saying “things others refuse to see,” which he said could “reshape the Middle East and bring peace.” But Trump’s Gaza plan has faced pushback from Arab leaders: Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty said Egypt would not “participate in an injustice against the Palestinians.” King Abdullah II of Jordan said he is “against the displacement of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank,” which he called the “unified Arab position.” Izzat Al-Rishq, a Hamas official, said “Gaza is not a property that can be bought and sold, and it is an integral part of our occupied Palestinian land.” In response to their opposition, Trump said last week he was “surprised” they were not in favor, adding he is “not forcing” his plan but would instead “sit back and recommend it.”

Some Republicans had previously criticized Trump’s aim to take over Gaza, including Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., who said the United States has “no business” in Gaza, adding he thought voters wanted the government to put “America first.” Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., said taking over Gaza is not the “best use of United States resources” and he would not support sending troops. Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., said the plan would “obviously” not happen, adding: “I don’t know under what circumstance it would make sense.”
