Speaking at a Fox News town hall in Pennsylvania, Trump told host Sean Hannity described ABC as the “worst network in terms of fairness,” continuing a line of attack he has used in the past few weeks.
The former president said Harris’ best friend is the head of the network and claimed without evidence “they’re going to get the questions I’ve already heard…they’re going to get the questions in advance.”
While Trump did not name this “best friend”, he was likely referring to Disney Entertainment co-chair Dana Walden, a long-time friend of Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff, who oversees multiple Disney-owned networks including ABC News.
Calling ABC News the “most dishonest network”, the former president said he agreed to do the debate on ABC News “because they wouldn’t do any other network.”
When asked by Hannity how he plans to handle the debate, Trump said he would treat it the same way as his debate with President Joe Biden, adding “I let him talk. I’m going to let her talk.”

“They are the most dishonest network. The meanest, the nastiest, but that is what I was presented with. I was presented with ABC…I think a lot of people are going to be watching to see how nasty they are, how unfair they are,” Trump said.
