As the autumn air grows crisp and the nights draw in, there's no better time to explore the dynamic range of exciting movies that await us. Whether you're in the mood for a thought-provoking drama or a heart-pounding thriller, this week promises a compelling slate of new releases on Netflix NFLX .

In the ever-changing landscape of streaming content, navigating through endless options available can feel overwhelming. That's why I've done the legwork for you, cutting through the clutter to highlight the most noteworthy films and series set to grace your screens in the coming days. Below, I’ll review the best options available this week, followed by every new movie and show you can watch on Netflix between Sunday, September 24, and Saturday, September 30.

Fourteen years after enchanting audiences with Fantastic Mr. Fox, Wes Anderson is back to sprinkle more Roald Dahl magic on the big screen—err, the small screen, in this case. It's a cinematic feast of four short films: The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar, The Swan, The Rat Catcher, and Poison. These films will premiere on Netflix, released one day at a time, starting from September 27. Anderson spent nearly 20 years contemplating how to adapt these stories, especially Henry Sugar, without losing the bewitching language of Dahl. The end result? Four uniquely crafted visual narratives, each offering a whimsical yet profound escapade into the realm of storytelling.

The beloved white tent flings open its flaps for another season of sugar, spice, and everything nice (or potentially disastrous). Starting September 29, a new cohort of 12 amateur bakers will knead, whip, and ice their way through ever-challenging tasks, still vying for the elusive Paul Hollywood handshake and seeking to dazzle Prue Leith's refined palate. As an added twist this season, TV personality and actor Alison Hammond joins Noel Fielding as a co-host, adding her own brand of zest and charm to the confectionary competition.

In a role that goes beyond surface-level detective work, Benicio Del Toro portrays Tom Nichols, a detective whose pursuit of a murderer brings his own past crashing into the present. Del Toro wears multiple hats, adding screenplay credits to his already impressive résumé for the first time, co-writing alongside director Singer and Benjamin Brewer. Also starring Justin Timberlake and Alicia Silverstone, Reptile is a riveting investigation not just into a grim crime but also into the complexities of human emotions, decisions, and the shadows that haunt us.

A new era dawns in the vampire-ridden world of Castlevania, this time focusing on Richter Belmont, a name fans will remember fondly from the iconic games like Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood. Created by Clive Bradley, Castlevania: Nocturne takes place years after the original series, introducing fresh story arcs while remaining true to the game's legacy. This new series aims to captivate both long-time fans and newcomers, promising an intense narrative filled with vampiric adversaries, dark magic, and heroic struggles. Welcome to the next chapter in the endless fight against otherworldly evil.

Directed by Albert Pintó and starring Anna Castillo and Tamar Novas, NOWHERE offers a harrowing tale of survival, seclusion, and the indomitable human spirit. Young and pregnant, Mia finds a questionable refuge in a cargo ship's container, only to face a violent storm and an even more strenuous labor, alone on the ocean. The film is an exercise in building tension within confined spaces, employing a bare minimum of settings but a maximum of human drama and emotional intensity. It questions the boundaries of where hope can be found when all seems lost.

Note: The dates represent your last days to watch these movies and shows.
