In just about a day, Billboard will refresh its weekly charts, and when that happens, Taylor Swift will officially claim another No. 1 hit. One of the singer’s current focuses is set to rise to the summit on one specific list, and when it does, she’ll match one of her most successful contemporaries and prove that there are few doing it as well as she is.

Swift’s single “Karma” is slated to shoot to No. 1 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart tomorrow (July 25), giving her control over the radio list for the chart week dated July 29. The tune currently sits at No. 3, but not for long, as Billboard has already announced the cut’s ascent ahead of it being visible on the ranking.

“Karma” will be Swift’s tenth No. 1 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart, which ranks the tunes that reach the largest audience at pop radio aimed at older demographics. When it takes over, it will push Rema and Selena Gomez’s “Calm Down,” which has now run the show on that list for a pair of frames, out of the highest rung on the tally.

With a tenth leader to her credit, Swift will tie with pop singer Pink, who has also secured just as many winners. When she does, Swift will be tied for the most winners among women and the most among solo musicians. The only other artist that has accumulated more No. 1 hits on the Adult Pop Airplay chart is Maroon 5. The pop band that has thus far scored 15 rulers throughout their time together.

Swift's journey to the top of the charts began a decade ago when her first No. 1 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart, “I Knew You Were Trouble,” rose to the peak position. Since then, she has regularly sent new smashes to the top of the tally, returning to the peak position frequently and without any lengthy breaks in between winners. Her last champion, “Anti-Hero,” hit No. 1 in late 2022 and continued to rule into this year, so “Karma” actually marks her second leader this year.
