The Supreme Court rejected Bannon’s application for release, just one week after he requested the court pause his prison sentence for defying a congressional subpoena to appear before the Jan. 6 Select Committee.
An appeals court had previously denied Bannon’s appeal of his conviction, rejecting his claim of executive privilege barring him from the subpoena.
