The Supreme Court on Wednesday declined the Biden administration’s request to lift a temporary blockade on a new income-driven student loan forgiveness program, SAVE, siding with Republican-led states by upholding a sweeping appeals court ruling that bars the entirety of the plan while challenges to the program work their way through the courts.
