Sean “Diddy” Combs appears to be physically assaulting his former partner, Cassie Ventura, in a 2016 surveillance video published by CNN on Friday, marking the latest controversy regarding the rapper, who has denied multiple allegations of rape, sexual abuse and sex trafficking within the last year.

The surveillance video footage appears to show Combs grab, drag and kick Ventura during an altercation at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, CNN reported.

The video matches some allegations made in a lawsuit, filed by Ventura and settled by Combs last year, which accused Combs of being extremely intoxicated and punching Ventura in the face before she left the hotel room.

The suit claimed Ventura then attempted to take an elevator to the lobby, but was stopped by Combs, who grabbed her and threw glass vases in the hallway at her (the suit did not mention the dragging and kicking of Ventura by Combs the video appears to show).

Ventura’s lawsuit also alleged Combs paid the InterContinental Century City $50,000 for the surveillance footage.

Douglas H. Wigdor, a lawyer for Cassie Ventura, told Forbes the video “only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs.”

An attorney for Combs did not immediately respond to Forbes’ request for comment.
