


The deputy assistant director of the FBI’s counter-terrorism division said Thursday the agency’s investigations have uncovered no link between an attack in New Orleans that killed 15 people in the early hours of New Year’s Day and a Tesla cyber truck explosion outside the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas on the same day.

The FBI’s Chris Raia, who took part in a press conference in New Orleans Thursday, stressed the investigations are still in the early stages and the agency is “not ruling anything out,” but that there is so far “no definitive link” between the two incidents.
