


Former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley said she will vote for Donald Trump in November—but also said Trump needs to work to earn the votes of her supporters.

In a speech about foreign policy at the Hudson Institute, Haley said she is putting her “priorities on a president who's going to have the backs of our allies and hold our enemies to account, who would secure the border.”
She added that Trump has “not been perfect on these policies … But Biden has been a catastrophe.”
Haley was Trump’s main opponent before she dropped out of the Republican primary race after losing 14 of 15 states on Super Tuesday.
In the speech announcing she was suspending her campaign, Haley said “it is now up to Donald Trump to earn the votes of those in our party and beyond it who did not support him.”
