Michael Jackson’s music is still being consumed in huge numbers, even more than a decade after his passing. While it's common to see the singer’s catalog rise around Halloween when the album Thriller and its title track soar thanks to the spooky holiday, the late superstar is also performing especially well at the moment.

This week, Jackson claims more spots on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart. The legendary musician claims a trio of spaces on the 25-spot ranking of the most-consumed full-lengths in the U.S. that the chart company labels as R&B. That’s 12% of the entire ranking.

Up first from Jackson is, unsurprisingly, Thriller. The set is losing ground, however, as it slips from No. 6 to No. 15 on this week’s Top R&B Albums chart. According to information shared by Luminate, the title moved another 10,357 equivalent album units.

Jackson’s other two titles on this week’s roundup of the top-performing R&B albums in the country return to the tally after not being present last time around.

Back on the Top R&B Albums chart at No. 21 is The Essential Michael Jackson. That set also simultaneously reappears on the Billboard 200 at No. 156. Luminate reports that the compilation of the singer’s most beloved hit singles moved another 9,500 equivalent album units in the past tracking frame.

The lowest-ranking of Jackson’s titles on the Top R&B Albums chart this week is The Jackson 5 Christmas Album. The set returns at No. 23 this time around, but it will likely climb in the coming frames as the big day approaches. The holiday project is one of several yuletide collections on the ranking, joining Mariah Carey’s Merry Christmas (No. 3) and Nat King Cole’s The Christmas Song (No. 4).

Jackson claims the most spaces on this week’s Top R&B Albums chart this week, beating more contemporary stars in the genre. Fellow R&B icons like SZA, The Weeknd, Brent Faiyaz and Frank Ocean all fill two spots, tying for the second-most among all stars this time around.
