


Former President Donald Trump’s wife, Melania Trump—who has been largely absent from Trump’s campaign this election cycle—made a rare appearance at his campaign rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday to introduce her husband.

Melania Trump was introduced by billionaire Trump ally Elon Musk about four hours after the rally began.
Melania spoke vaguely of the “declining quality of life” and “economic instability” in the U.S. before giving a message of hope, saying: “New York City and America needs their magic back. Let us start together with a shared vision that builds on American greatness. Let's seize this moment and create a country for tomorrow, the future that we deserve.”
Melania has made few appearances throughout the campaign: She was at the Republican National Convention but did not speak, she released a statement after the first assassination attempt on Trump’s life in July supporting her husband, and she spoke with Fox News to promote the release of her book in September.
But Sunday’s rally was her first time speaking at a Trump event this election cycle, the New York Times reported.
