Gaetz updated his information on X, formerly known as Twitter, to include a link to his Cameo page and made his profile location “Find me on CAMEO!” on Friday.
His profile on the site—which allows celebrities to sell short, custom videos of themselves—describes him as a “Former Florida Congressman” and offers videos starting at $500 for things like birthday wishes and pep talks.
Cameo CEO Steven Galanis confirmed to Forbes the page is for Gaetz.
Gaetz joined the platform on the same day he announced he would not return to Congress after resigning last week and one day after he withdrew from consideration to be attorney general amid increased calls for a report on his alleged sexual misconduct to be released.

“I served in Congress. Trump nominated me to be US Attorney General (that didn’t work out). Once I fired the House Speaker,” reads the “more about Matt Gaetz” page of his Cameo.
Trump announced Gaetz as his pick to lead the Justice Department last week, and the decision was met with bipartisan criticism from senators and increased calls for the House Ethics Committee to release its report on sexual misconduct allegations against Gaetz. The House was probing whether Gaetz “engaged in sexual misconduct and illicit drug use, accepted improper gifts, dispensed special privileges and favors to individuals with whom he had a personal relationship, and sought to obstruct government investigations of his conduct.” The Justice Department had previously investigated Gaetz for alleged sexual misconduct with a minor but ended the investigation without bringing charges. After Trump announced Gaetz as his pick for attorney general, Gaetz resigned from the House effective immediately—just days before the House Ethics Committee was reportedly set to vote on whether to release the report. His potential appointment led to conversations of whether the report should still be released even though he was no longer a lawmaker (the committee does not have jurisdiction over former members of Congress), and he ultimately withdrew from consideration, saying in a post his potential confirmation was “unfairly becoming a distraction to the critical work of the Trump/Vance Transition.”
Gaetz is not the only former congressman to join Cameo after leaving the House. Earlier this year, former House Rep. George Santos, R-N.Y., joined Cameo after being ousted from the House for allegedly stealing from donors. In the days after he joined the website, Galanis said Santos’ bookings exceeded his $174,000 congressional salary and that he expected Santos to be “an absolute whale.”
