Lady Gaga and The Rolling Stones, an unexpected musical pairing, have found success together with their new single titled “Sweet Sounds of Heaven.” This collaboration has marked their first joint appearance on the Billboard charts, much to the delight of their fans.

“Sweet Sounds of Heaven” makes its debut on this week’s Rock Digital Song Sales chart, which ranks the best-selling rock tunes in America according to Billboard's classification. The track enters the chart at a respectable No. 17 out of 25 positions, securing the third-highest debut of the week, trailing behind new releases from Zach Bryan and Noah Kahan, as well as Dolly Parton and Linda Perry.

The Rolling Stones, though primarily known for their music from decades past, are no strangers to the Rock Digital Song Sales chart. The legendary rock group has placed 14 of their songs on this chart, with five of them breaking into the top 10. To date, only one of their tracks, "Living in a Ghost Town," has reached the chart's summit.

In contrast, Lady Gaga is not as familiar with the Rock Digital Song Sales chart, despite her versatility as an artist. “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” marks only her second appearance on this chart. Her debut occurred last year with "Top Gun Anthem," an aptly-titled anthem from the movie "Top Gun: Maverick," where she shared the spotlight with composers Harold Faltermeyer, Hans Zimmer, and Lorne Balfe.

"Sweet Sounds of Heaven" holds the distinction of being the second official single from The Rolling Stones's upcoming album, Hackney Diamonds. Set to be released on October 20, this album will mark the band's first collection of original material in nearly two decades. Their album promotion began last month with the release of the lead single, "Angry."
