The Scarlett Johansson blockbuster hit Jurassic World Rebirth is new on digital streaming this week.

Directed by Garth Edwards (Rogue One, Godzilla), Jurassic World Rebirth stars Johansson stars as Zora Bennett, a mercenary who, along with paleontologist Henry Loomis (Jonathan Bailey) is hired by pharmaceutical executive Martin Krebs (Rupert Friend) to travel to a forbidden zone near the equator to find and extract DNA from three different dinosaur species.

Should the duo — along with another mercenary, Duncan Kincaid (Mahershala Ali) — be successful, the DNA will be the missing piece of a puzzle in a medical breakthrough that will cure heart disease.

Jurassic World Rebirth also stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaise, David Iacono, Audrina Miranda, Philippine Velge, Bechir Sylvain and Ed Skrein.

A new listing on Prime Video confirms that the film will arrive on digital streaming via premium video on demand on Tuesday, Aug. 5, When to Stream originally reported the release date. The date was also confirmed by Universal Studios on Monday.

Jurassic World Rebirth is listed for pre-order for $29.99 on Prime Video, which will also be the film’s purchase price. The film is expected to be available for a 48-hour rental for $24.99 since PVOD titles typically are $5 less than digital purchase prices.

In addition to Prime Video, Jurassic World Rebirth will be available on such digital platforms as Apple TV, Fandango at Home and YouTube.

Jurassic World Rebirth is the seventh film in the Jurassic Park franchise, which began in 1993 with Jurassic Park and two sequels and was followed by three Jurassic World movies.

Scarlett Johansson told NBC’s TODAY in an interview the day before Jurassic World Rebirth opened on July 2, how much landing a starring role in the newest Jurassic World movie meant to her.

“It was a childhood dream of mine to be in this movie,” Johansson told TODAY. “I’ve been trying to get in the Jurassic universe for three decades.”

The Oscar-nominated actor recalled her memories of seeing the original Jurassic Park, which was directed by Steven Spielberg, for TODAY.

“I saw the movie Jurassic Park when I was 10 years old in the theater and it was so impactful,” Johansson recalled for TODAY. “Like the entire audience, I was completely transfixed, mesmerized, carried away, terrified, all of that stuff, and it’s part of the formative part of my childhood.”

Jurassic World Rebirth has earned $311.3 million domestically and $425 million internationally for a worldwide box office tally of $736.4 million to date. The film had a marketing budget of $225 million before prints and advertising costs, according to The Numbers.

Rated PG-13, Jurassic World Rebirth will arrive on PVOD on Tuesday.
