July CaseSafe luggage
JULY

Have you ever experienced that peculiar sinking feeling as you watch the baggage carousel at the airport and your luggage fails to appear? We’ve probably all been there at some point or another. July, the Australian luggage brand, has introduced CaseSafe, described as the world’s first trackable suitcase.

The Melbourne-based company claims it has made lost luggage a thing of the past with CaseSafe being billed as the world’s first fully integrated trackable luggage, created in partnership with Apple and Google. Travelers can now follow their luggage in real time, all the way from check-in to baggage claim.

July says it is the first luggage brand to integrate a trackable, battery-operated, TSA-approved lock that’s compatible with both Apple’s Find My and Google’s Find Hub networks. CaseSafe lets travelers to locate their bag anywhere in the world without extra tags or clunky add-ons. Earlier this summer, July and Qantas, Australia’s largest airline, teamed up for a limited edition run of the trackable luggage. The launch was an instant hit, selling thousands of units.

Retailing at prices starting from $325, CaseSafe is available in all of July’s core colors in both carry-on and checked sizes. The products feature German aerospace-grade polycarbonate shells and July’s signature SilentMove 360° spinner double wheels for ease of movement between gates, across the tarmac or even on Europe’s cobbled streets.

MORE FOR YOU

Since its inception in 2019, July claims it’s been on a mission to design products that upgrade the travel experience. Founders Athan Didaskalou and Richard Li are keen travelers and adventurers who had an idea to create a better quality, higher-design luggage that wouldn’t break the bank. The duo’s synergistic partnership expanded into the U.S. four years ago and established a cult-like following.

“With CaseSafe, we’ve reimagined smart luggage, making it not just connected, but seamlessly integrated into the way people travel,” says founder Athan Didaskalou. “No extra tags, no extra steps – just tracking built directly into the lock, working with the devices people already use. It’s a game-changer for travelers, and we can’t wait to see how it transforms their journeys.”

July’s CaseSafe carry-on and checked luggage is available now for purchase in the U.S. at July.com with prices ranging from $325 to $395.
