Trump appeared on Rogan’s show in a three-hour episode that was posted Friday, and the episode had more than 37.6 million views as of Tuesday morning.
Rogan’s podcast is No. 1 on Spotify’s list, has more than 18 million subscribers on YouTube and is part of a nearly $250 million deal between him and Spotify.

Vice President Kamala Harris hasn’t appeared on Rogan’s podcast, with both the podcaster and the vice president citing scheduling conflicts. Rogan said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Tuesday morning Harris had “not passed on doing the podcast,” but offered only an hour of time and Rogan would have had to travel to her, which he said is not “the best way” to do the show. “My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being,” Rogan said, adding: “I really hope we can make it happen.”
Rogan said Tuesday's episode with Trump faced an “issue” preventing it from showing up in YouTube’s search function. Google told Variety on Monday it had fixed the problem and the video should appear in search for viewers, but some fans have already alleged the video is being intentionally suppressed—despite there being no evidence to support the claim. Rogan acknowledged there was “an issue with searching for this episode on YouTube” late Monday and shared the episode in full on X. The episode also had issues shortly after it was uploaded: It was delisted on YouTube after it was posted Friday so Rogan’s team could fix a “glitch,” but it was later available and Rogan said “there is no issue with YouTube censoring the Trump episode.”
Rogan, who is also a comedian, actor and UFC commentator, started his podcast in 2009 and it now has more than 2,000 episodes that are usually between two and three hours each. Rogan has criticized both Harris and Trump throughout the election cycle, referring to Trump—who he declined to have as a guest in 2022—as “an existential threat to democracy” and Harris as “the worst.” In his interview with Trump last week, they covered a range of topics, including Trump’s claim he would remove income taxes, the 2020 election and Trump’s false claims it was stolen and the former president’s thoughts on extraterrestrial life.
