The Israeli military said Saturday it carried out strikes against Hezbollah targets in Southern Lebanon, according to multiple outlets, with fighting between the Israeli Defense Forces and the Hezbollah militant group continuing into the weekend amid a growing death toll and threat of an all-out war.

The Israeli military said it was continuing its strikes against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, a hot spot for airstrikes, according to The New York Times, which noted the death toll in Lebanon has reached 37.
Hezbollah retaliated against the Israeli Defense Forces assault on Saturday afternoon, launching more than 60 rockets into Northern Israel, where fallen rockets have sparked multiple fires, The Jerusalem Post reported.
