Those looking to convert documents for editing or e-signing can use PDF to Word converters, such as PDFSimpli, PDF Compressor and iLovePDF, which are safe and available for free online.

Adobe Acrobat is a software that allows users to convert and edit PDFs and e-sign documents for as little as $12.99 per month for the standard version or up to $19.99 a month for the pro version.

There is also the option to convert a PDF to a word document in Microsoft Word without the PDF losing its formatting.

To convert a PDF to a word document using Adobe Acrobat, select the file you want to convert and upload it to the software, allow up to 10 minutes for conversion and, when ready, download the Word document to your device for viewing and editing.

To convert a PDF to a word document in Microsoft Word, go to the Microsoft Word app on a desktop and click Open, click on the location of the PDF, such as “On My Mac,” select the PDF file, click Open and allow for conversion.
