Diablo IV is almost here, with the game heading into a short Early Access period prior to its June 5th/6th launch next Tuesday—just one week from now! After several exciting beta weekends, this is shaping up to be a mega-hit for Blizzard and one of the biggest game launches of 2023.

Diablo IV is the long-awaited entry in Blizzard’s classic action-RPG series that began nearly three decades ago with the original game’s launch in 1996. It’s been 11 years since the launch of Diablo III. This game is much darker and feels more true to the series grimdark fantasy roots. It also introduces horseback riding.

Players play as one of five classes (so far, more will be added): Necromancer, Rogue, Sorceress, Barbarian, and Druid. The game is being treated as a “live-service” title, with content releasing across seasons including new classes, locations and even a battle pass.

Here’s everything you need to know about the game’s Early Access launch.

In order to gain entry into the Diablo IV Early Access period, you’ll need to pre-order the Digital Deluxe or Ultimate Edition of the game on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5 or PS4. Once you’ve pre-ordered, you’ll gain access to the game the moment it launches into Early Access.

Depending on where you live, Diablo IV Early Access will begin on June 1st or 2nd. Here are some star-times:

Pre-loads for the game on all platforms are already live.

Early Access will be the full game with the entire game and all content available the same as when it launches.

The full global launch of Diablo IV will take place on June 5th and 6th depending on your region, and mirrors the exact same times as Early Access:

Diablo IV is fully cross-play and cross-progression across all platforms, though you’re required to have a Battle.net account. See you in hell!
