According to filings made with the Federal Election Commission on Sunday, Harris’ principal campaign committee raised $221.8 million in September.

In comparison, Trump’s main campaign committee raised $62.7 million during the same period.

Harris’ campaign also spent more cash than Trump’s last month, $270 million compared to $78 million, with a majority of the spending for both campaigns going towards media costs—around $225 million for Harris compared to $53 million for the former president.

Despite massively outspending Trump’s campaign, the vice president's main committee retained its cash advantage at the start of October, with $187 million on hand compared to $120 million for the former president’s campaign.

When considering allied fundraising committees, Harris’ campaign set a record for the biggest fundraising quarter ever between July 1 and September 30 by raising more than a billion dollars, the New York Times reported.

Combined with their party committees, Harris and Trump raised $378 million and $160 million in September respectively, the report added.

$633 million. The total amount raised by the Harris Victory Fund—the vice president’s primary high-dollar fundraising committee—in the third quarter. In comparison, the Trump 47 Committee—the former president’s main big-dollar fundraising arm—brought in only $145.2 million during the same three-month period.
