The latest collaboration between Halsey and Suga, "Lilith (Diablo IV Anthem)," has quickly achieved chart success, proving that the two are a winning pair. The musicians made some money from the duet and scored a Billboard win together, but there could be another benefit that comes to them from the tune: a Grammy nomination.

The remix of Halsey's original song from her 2021 album If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power quickly gained popularity, securing a spot on Billboard's rock and alternative tallies and even reaching No. 1 on the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart. Sales and chart positions aren’t supposed to matter when it comes to the Grammys, but the more successful a release becomes, the harder it is for voters to ignore.

With its impressive launch, "Lilith (Diablo IV Anthem)" has already emerged as a strong contender for the Best Alternative Music Performance Grammy. This category, introduced last year and won by Wet Leg, allows for a wide range of interpretations, and the success of Halsey and Suga's single on the alternative Billboard charts positions it well for consideration.

Halsey's previous experience in the alternative categories at the Grammys further enhances the duo's prospects. In 2022, Halsey received a nomination for Best Alternative Music Album for If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power, the same album that features the original version of "Lilith." The remix, with Suga's added vocals and a slight name change, maintains the essence of the original while introducing new elements.

If the Recording Academy already appreciated the full-length album, there is a possibility they will show the same kindness to the remix, especially given its superior performance compared to the initial version. The success of "Lilith (Diablo IV Anthem)" and the historic reasons to highlight and reward the track provide strong incentives for Grammy recognition.

Both Halsey and Suga have yet to win a Grammy, and this collaboration offers them another opportunity to secure the prestigious award. While Suga has only been nominated as a member of BTS, no solo K-pop artist has received a Grammy nomination thus far. Honoring the duo would not only provide Halsey and Suga with a chance to finally take home a Grammy but also allow them to make history in a significant way.

The official Grammy nominations will not be announced until later this year. However, it is evident that the Best Alternative Music Performance category may already have a major contender in Halsey and Suga's "Lilith (Diablo IV Anthem)." The artists are likely to actively promote the track and engage with industry professionals, hoping to hear their names called when the nominations are revealed.
