Fleetwood Mac may not be actively promoting anything or releasing new music at the moment, but their enduring popularity remains evident as their classic track, "Songbird," makes a triumphant return to several Billboard charts.

This week, "Songbird" by Fleetwood Mac reemerges on several Billboard rankings, driven by a recent increase in sales. According to data provided by Luminate, the song sold another 1,127 copies in the most recent tracking frame.

This boom in sales has propelled "Songbird" back onto Billboard's Digital Song Sales chart, a weekly ranking that lists the best-selling songs across all music genres. This chart is typically dominated by contemporary pop stars, rock bands, and even hip-hop artists, making Fleetwood Mac's return even more noteworthy. "Songbird" reaches the No. 48 position on this chart.

Additionally, "Songbird" reclaims a spot on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart, which focuses exclusively on rock tracks with the highest sales figures. The song nearly breaks back into the top 10 on this list, landing at No. 11. "Songbird" had previously peaked at No. 9 on the chart.

"Songbird," a song penned by Christine McVie, has gained renewed significance in the months following her passing in late 2022. Members of Fleetwood Mac have openly discussed the songwriter, offering praise and emphasizing her crucial role in the group's history. While "Songbird" was featured on the band's iconic album Rumours, it was never officially released as a single during its original run, but it remains a fan favorite to this day.
