Emmitt Smith and Peyton Manning are partnering up with Bud Light for a big Super Bowl ticket ... [+]
Dallas Cowboys legend Emmitt Smith knows a thing or two about being in the Super Bowl.
The Hall of Fame running back and all-time NFL rushing leader is a three-time Super Bowl champion who made a name for himself in the big game. In fact, Smith won the Super Bowl XXXVIII MVP award following his 132-yard, two-touchdown performance against the Buffalo Bills at the conclusion of the 1993 season.
With Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas not too far off, Smith will be a part of the big game in a different way this time around — this time he’s partnering with Bud Light for the brand's biggest Super Bowl ticket giveaway ever. Starting on December 1, fans at least 21 years of age can enter for chances to win Super Bowl and playoff tickets by scanning Bud Light QR codes and by showing off their love for the brand on social channels.
As a way of partnering with the brand, Smith will be featured in a Bud Light commercial titled "Easy Receivers" with five-time MVP and two-time Super Bowl champion Peyton Manning.
The Bud Light commercial featuring both Smith and Manning is set to run in 30-second and 15-second formats during the playoffs and leading into Super Bowl LVIII.
The new advertisement is set to the song, "It's So Easy," by Margo & Mac with patrons awaiting Manning's next move after he orders a Bud Light in a crowded bar. After announcing a round of Bud Lights are on him, he starts passing cans of Bud Light to fans with throws. After a fan makes a diving catch, Smith appears before the end of the commercial to call a touchdown.
Smith explained what led to his partnership with Bud Light along with the opportunity of joining forces with Manning to film the new commercial.
"Obviously being asked to join Peyton Manning to shoot the commercial, the quick answer is yes," said Smith. "Teaming up with Bud Light with this new campaign to show how easy it is for people to enjoy Bud Light during the football season made the decision a lot easier when Peyton Manning is on the other side. So not only joining forces with Peyton, but joining forces with an iconic brand like Bud Light made the decision a lot easier."

Smith detailed why it's such a "unique" experience for fans as they try to win tickets for the Super Bowl in Las Vegas.
"What Bud Light is trying to do with fans — and creating that experience around the game itself — by offering postseason tickets to fans who go out and scan the QR code and enter themselves in for an opportunity to win those tickets, it creates a very unique experience to win those tickets,” said Smith. “I'm honored to be a part of it."
Although there's only currently one Bud Light commercial featuring Smith and Manning together, the Cowboys legend made sure to make it clear he would love to do more in the future.
"I'm not in charge of Bud Light's budget, but I would love to see that happen," Smith said while laughing.
While Smith will always be known for his 13 years spent with the Cowboys, he has a Super Bowl prediction that may not be popular with Dallas, but it’s likely a popular pick among the rest of the NFL fan base. The Cowboys great anticipates Super Bowl LVIII to feature a rematch between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs.
"It's kind of hard to tell," Smith said before making his pick. "But If I had to pick one, I think we might have a repeat of what we had last year."
