Hill was pulled over for a minor traffic incident while entering the stadium area, and was briefly handcuffed by police, NFL Network reported.
ESPN reports Hill was stopped for alleged reckless driving and speeding, and he was handcuffed after an altercation with police, citing unnamed sources—an incident the player’s agent Drew Rosenhaus called “heartbreaking” and “mindboggling.”
“Several teammates saw the incident and stopped to offer support,” the Dolphins said in a tweet, and all of the involved players are available to play in Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
