Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was involved in a car crash Tuesday morning while traveling to a campaign event in Chattanooga, Tennessee, his campaign said—but the GOP presidential contender and his staff were uninjured.

DeSantis was traveling with members of his staff when the incident occurred Tuesday morning, campaign spokesperson Bryan Griffin said, according to multiple reports.
DeSantis and the staffers traveling with him were not injured in the crash, Griffin reportedly said.
“We appreciate the prayers and well wishes of the nation for his continued protection while on the campaign trail,” Griffin said.
The cause and severity of the crash were not immediately clear.
