Conor McGregor's return to the octagon has been delayed after the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion was forced to withdraw from his fight against Michael Chandler at UFC 303, causing a last-minute change in the card.
Conor McGregor was set to take on Michael Chandler in his first UFC bout since July 2021.
In a post on X, UFC President Dana White said McGregor is out of UFC 303 “with an injury” and said the new main event for the pay-per-view show will be a light heavyweight title match between champion Alex Pereira and former champion Jiri Procházka.
The co-main event fight between former light heavyweight champ Jamahal Hill and Carlos Ulberg has also been called off due to an injury to Hill and a bout between featherweights Brian Ortega and Diego Lopes has replaced it.
This is a developing story.
