Anthony posted a retirement video that showed clips from his many years playing basketball and alluded to his 16-year-old son, Kiyan Anthony, continuing in his footsteps.

Anthony retires as the No. 9 scorer in league history behind legendary players like LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver congratulated Anthony, saying he looks forward to seeing the veteran in the hall of fame.
