V, one of the members of global sensation BTS, recently made a significant mark on the Billboard charts with the release of his debut solo collection, "Layover," approximately two weeks ago. In the wake of this release, V's name has become a prominent fixture on various Billboard rankings. Notably, his presence has left an indelible mark on the Digital Song Sales chart, which meticulously tracks the best-selling songs in the United States on a weekly basis.

V's latest achievement on the Digital Song Sales chart is nothing short of remarkable. He currently boasts five songs on the chart, effectively claiming 10% of all available slots. This feat is typically reserved for a select few superstars. It's worth noting that not all chart-toppers translate into great individual song sales, a fact exemplified by Olivia Rodrigo, who currently holds the No. 1 song and album in the United States but does not feature anywhere on the Digital Song Sales chart, given her album-centric success.

In his latest brush with chart dominance, V came tantalizingly close to securing yet another No. 1 spot on the Digital Song Sales chart, narrowly missing the top position by a single slot. His latest single, "Slow Dancing," made a formidable debut at No. 2 on the ranking, with just under 10,200 copies sold. Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's collaborative effort, "Bongos," clinched the No. 1 spot during the same chart period.

Continuing his impressive run on the Digital Song Sales chart, V's "Layover" also sees a pair of debuts. "Blue" emerges as the second-highest debut from the album, entering at No. 12 with nearly 3,700 copies sold. Slightly further down the tally, "For Us" makes its debut with an opening frame of nearly 2,500 copies sold.

Moreover, V's earlier singles from "Layover," released weeks apart, have made a triumphant return to the Digital Song Sales chart as fans eagerly support his solo work. "Love Me Again" reclaims its position at No. 35, while "Rainy Days" follows closely at No. 36. These songs, originally peaking inside the top five upon their initial chart entry, continue to resonate with audiences, selling 1,944 and 1,856 copies, respectively.
